If you love the beach, sand, sun, surf and netball, then this is the event for you!
What better place to play this hot new format of the world’s best team sport than the iconic beach at Surfers Paradise?
The beach competition is open to female or mixed teams. Teams may register up to six players, with a maximum of four players permitted on the court at any one time.
Matches are shorter (2 x 5 minute halves), but you’ll soon see why as it can be quite a work-out playing on the sand!

The beach competition will be held at the specially built beach netball courts, located on Surfers Paradise Beach between Hanlan and Trickett Streets (one block south of Cavill Mall).
If you’re 18 or over, you can take part in the NetFest beach competition.
Because beach netball is a relatively new format and many of you won’t have played before, we’ll grade you based on your regular netball experience.
When you complete your online entry, you’ll be asked a series of quick questions which will assist our Competition Manager in grading your team.
